South By Southwest
Sorry I haven’t blogged in a couple days. I have been at South By Southwest. Austin sucked all of my time and efforts out of me.
It was a great time. I didn’t realize the festival was really mainly for bands. There were hardly any fans there. It allowed me to meet a lot of new people. I befriended a lot of new bands. You can never make a enough good impressions on people in your life. Every person you meet is an opportunity. I guess a lot of bands knew who we are. That was really good for my confidence. I am always under the assumption that my band is absolutely nothing and no one has heard of us. But a lot of people I never met knew exactly who I was. That’s a good feeling.
I got a tan, hung out in a few hot tubs, played a few shows, got a bunch of free meals, got a lot of new fans, and got stuck in a lot of traffic. Great weekend.
